When a publicist from Chicago called me to ask if I would be interested in doing an interview with Faith Middleton on her radio show “Food Schmooze”, I accepted, of course, with much appreciation and excitement for the opportunity to help market Salad Days. In reality, I experience a lot of anxiety and trepidation for radio and television interviews. Actually, this whole world of public media is a tough learning curve for me.
Faith is amazing! I remember making a note on my calendar to download some of her broadcasts beforehand to listen to her radio show and get used to her Q&A style. I was delighted and hooked during an afternoon full of Faith Middletons “Food Schmooze” broadcasts. As a listener, Faith welcomes you into her studio as if you were a guest in her own kitchen. It is often filled with the sound of laughter and the chit chat of local chefs and foodies that Faith has invited to her broadcast. Faith is the perfect hostess — guiding each guest with patience into their interview and gently engaging them to give their best information to the listening audience with ease.
